Dr. Chethan Chetty joined the family practice in 2000. He attended nearby Occidental College and earned a degree in Kinesiology in 1996. He recieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California (USC) Ostrow School of Dentistry in 2000. Dr. Chetty believes in life long learning. He continues to expand his dental skills and knowledge by being involved in several dental organizations. He is a member of the Stuart Gnathology Study Club, which provides advanced training in temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) and other advanced dental treatments, including full mouth rehabilitation. He is also a member of the USDI, which provides continued training in orthodontics. He is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and the Los Angeles Dental Society. Dr. Chetty currently serves on the Board of Directors of the USC Century Club. In 2005, Dr. Chetty became a certified Invisalign doctor.
Dr. Chetty is currently serving his second term as President of the Southern California Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) for which he has also served on the board of directors for since 2001. He is also serving as the Membership Chair for the California Academy of General Dentistry. In 2002, he coauthored a book called The New Dentist’s Guide to Survival for the AGD. This book was distributed to graduating dental students at USC, UCLA, UCSF, UOP, and Loma Linda. In addition to professional organizations, Dr. Chetty serves the community as a member of the Northeast Los Angeles Rotary Club and the Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce. In his free time, Dr. Chetty enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife, Avani, have two sons, Ishaan and Rushil, and a daughter, Diya. Dr. Chetty enjoys watching the Lakers when he is not playing Wii with his kids. |
